HIGHWAY/TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER - DESIGN

KL Engineering, Inc., is accepting resumes for an experienced Highway/Transportation Design Engineer in our Madison office.  KL Engineering has offices located in Madison, Menomonie and Green Bay, Wisconsin. The firm provides clients with a full range of transportation engineering and planning, municipal engineering, environmental studies and survey/GIS services.

The qualified candidate will work on a design team for several challenging projects including WisDOT projects with construction costs ranging from $500,000 - $75 million. The successful candidate will possess a B.S. in Civil Engineering with  2 - 6 years experience in the design of transportation projects. P.E. license or ability to obtain within one year is preferred.

Responsibilities include roadway and geometric design; hydraulic design; storm sewer design; report preparation; and completion of plans, specifications, miscellaneous quantities and estimates. Knowledge of CAD and Engineering software as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills is desired.
